Remedy

The makeup I show you today goes in pink and grey tones. It’s not a combination I make that often but it’s a nice variant to use once in a while. Pink and grey can really look great together.
Sometimes people ask me how to combine different types of colors. It doesn’t have just a simple answer. But one thing that I’m certain about and that I believe is the most important when trying new color combinations is how you decide to apply them and the intensity you give to each shade. If you apply them in the ”right” way you can mix what colors you want, even colors you never would think look good together. It’s all about the application from my point of view. And it’s here where the practise comes in. The beautiful thing about makeup is that there’s no rules, just some guidlines, but you decide, the result can become horrible as wonderful, but the more you practice the more secure you get. It works as with everything else. One should never give up trying beacuse everytime you try you automatically become a bit better than last time.

In Florence today it’s really beautiful and sunny. I’m having a bit of a cold these days but now I really start looking forward to springtime. I’m still in a period where I don’t have much time to do new makeup looks but I’ve got a few ideas for upcoming looks, just need the time to realize them.

1. Prime the eyelids with Urban Decay’s eyeshadow primer potion anti-aging. Highlight under the eyebrows with Motives Cosmetics eyeshadow in Creme Fresh.
2. Blend in Makeup Geek’s eyeshadow in Simply Marlena above the crease.
3. Apply Makeup Geek’s eyeshadow in Curfew to the outer part of the mobile eyelid and blend up in the crease and outwards.
4. Apply Motives Cosmetics eyeshadow in Antique Gold over the mobile eyelid.
5. In the inner corner of the eye apply Motives Cosmetics eyeshadow in Bling.
6. Along the lower lashline apply Motives Cosmetics eyeshadow  in Onyx.
7. Blend out Onyx with Makeup Geek’s eyeshadow in Curfew.
8. Make an eyeliner using Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner in Alloy.
9. Apply mascara.
10. Contour the face using Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit. On the cheeks apply YSL Blush Volupté Passionnee nr 6.
11. Line the lips using Illamasqua’s Lip Colouring Pencil in Media and over it add a bit of YSL Gloss Volupté 1 Golden.

Red Light

I was so enthusiastic for this new year until I came back to Florence and a lot of things just went wrong. Cracked car wind shield because of a stone on the motorway, heating system not working correctly in the house, water leak from one of the radiators…
Then personally I’ve a problem with my knee so it’s hard for me right now to do physical activity. I love going out running and walking but the pain is stopping me for doing so. All these things together make me feel really down, without energy and actually a bit depressed in this moment. At least I hope my passion for makeup will return soon beacuse right now I’m in lack of inspiration. But, it can always be worse so I don’t want to complain. I think it’s normal to feel a bit down once in a while, also because then you appreciate even more when you feel good again. I’m normally a positive person and when this period is over I hope to restart this year with the right spirit.

The makeup I show you today is a simple warm smokey look where I’ve been using eyeshadows from Sigma’s Warm Neutral eyeshadow palette.

1. Prime the eyelids with Urban Decay’s eyeshadow primer potion anti-aging. Highlight under the eyebrows with Sugar Milk.
2. Blend in Cinnamon above the crease.
3. Right under and a bit over Cinnamon blend in Optimistic.
4. Blend in Warm Stone to the outer V and continue blending outwards and up in the crease.
5. Over the mobile eyelid first apply Euphidra’s waterproof eyepencil 03 Sabbia Rosata and over it press on Balanced. Apply it also in the inner corner of the eye and in the inner part under the lower lashline.
6. Along the lower lashline apply Warm Stone.
7. Blend in Optimistic under Warm Stone.
8. Apply a brown eyeliner using Euphidra’s waterproof eyepencil 05 Cioccolato, smudge it out a bit.
9. Apply Euphidra’s lengthening mascara.
10. Contour the face using Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour kit. On the cheeks apply Yves Saint Laurent Blush Volupté Passionnee nr 6.
11. Line and color the lips with Urban Decay’s Gwen Stefani Lippencil Wonderland and over it apply Euphidra’s Volume Lipstick PM03 Flame.
12. Set the makeup with Urban Decay’s de-slick makeup setting spray. Done!

Realgar

My makeup suggestion for the weekend is this soft orange autumn makeup look that is super easy and fast to create. I personally used the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Eye Shadow Palette for this look. This palette has really become my ”go to” palette and I use it many times during the weeks.
For this look I’ve only used four eyeshadows of the palette and Realgar is a shade that I adore. It’s amazing by itself or as a transition color.

1. Prime the eyelids with Urban Decay’s eyeshadow primer potion anti-aging. Highlight under the eyebrows with Tempera and apply it over the mobile eyelid.
2. Blend in Burnt Orange above the crease.
3. Apply Realgar to the outer part of the mobile eyelid and blend outwards and up in the crease. Add more intensity until you’re satisfied.
4. In the inner corner of the eye apply Primavera.
5. Apply an eyeliner using Urban Decay’s 24/7 glide-on eyepencil in Demolition. Smudge it out and make a wing. Then apply and smudge it out also along the lower lashline.
6. In the waterline apply Kryolan’s kajal in beige.
7. Apply Eyeko’s long and tall skinny brush mascara. Apply Ardell’s Fashion Lashes nr 116.
8. Contour the face using Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit. On the cheeks apply Sigma’s powder blush in Cheeky.
9. Line the lips with Marc Jacobs (P)outliner Longwear Lippencil 302 HONEY(BUN) and over it apply Marc Jacobs Lipstick New Nudes 108 HAVE WE MET?
10. Set the makeup with Motives Cosmetics No More Shine makeup setting spray. Done!

1950s inspired makeup

Nu är jag och min familj äntligen på svensk mark. Efter allt kaos med mitt pass gick som tur var resan utan några som helst problem.
Det är alltid så skönt att få komma hem!
Dagens sminkning som jag visar er är en 50-tals inspirerad sminking. Till denna sminkning röda läppar såklart.

Today’s makeup that I show you is a 1950s inspired makeup. To this makeup red lips of course.

Il trucco che vi mostro oggi è ispirato dagli anni 50. Abbinato con labbra rosse ovviamente.

1. Prime the eyelids and highlight under the eyebrows with VIRGIN. Mix NAKED and WIT and blend in above the crease.
2. Blend in BUCK in the crease.
3. Create a bit more intensity to the crease blending in CREATIVITY.
   Over the mobile eyelid apply BRILLIANCE.
4. Under the lower lashline gently blend in BUCK and blend it downwards in the outerpart of the eye creating a ”shadow”.
   In the waterline apply a beige kajal.
5. Apply Sigma’s Standout eyes gel eyeliner in Stunningly Ladylike and make a wing.
6. Apply mascara and put on Ardell’s Individual Lashes just to the outer part of the eye.
7. Contour the face using ABH Contour Kit. Apply Sigma’s powder blush in Cheeky, Highlight the cheekbones with Benefit’s Sun beam.
8. Apply Kryolan’s red faceliner as a lipliner and over the lips. Over it apply Bornprettystore’s Lip Gloss Color nr9. Set the makeup with a makeup setting spray. Done!

Easy Cut Crease with Tutorial

Hoppas ni har en riktigt bra vecka. Jag har riktigt fullt upp, därför den dåliga uppdateringen. I måndags kväll blev det ett besök till akuten med min son som ramlade här hemma och slog sig riktigt illa under hakan där de fick sy tre stygn. Det var riktigt läskigt, men jag hoppas det läker bra nu. På måndag har vi tid för att ta bort stygen.
Idag visar jag er en enkel cut crease sminkning som kan vara riktigt fin till Alla Hjärtans Dag. Efter många månader fick jag äntligen tid att göra ett litet foto tutorial. Hoppas ni gillar det. Ta hand om er!! ❤

I hope you’re having a great week. I’ve been really busy lately, that’s why I haven’t been able to update the blog lately. Monday evening we had to go to the emergency ward with my son that had fell and hit himself really bad underneath the chin where they had to sew three stitches. It was really scary, but I hope it’s healing good now. On Monday we’ve time to take off the stitches.

Spero che stiate passando una bella settimana. Sono molto impegnata ultimamente per cui non ho avuto la possibiltà di aggiornare il blog. Lunedì sera siamo stati al pronto soccorso con mio figlio che si era fatto male sotto il mento dove hanno dovuto mettere tre punti. Stavavamo tutti male e mi ha davvero fatto impressione. Ora spero solo che guarirà come deve poi lunedì andremo a levare i punti.
Oggi vi faccio vedere un cut crease molto semplice che penso possa essere molto bello ora per San Valentino. Dopo tanti mesi ho finalemente avuto il tempo di creare un piccolo tutorial. Spero che vi piacerà. Vi auguro una bella giornata! ❤

1. Prime the eyelids with Urban Decay’s eyeshadow primer potion anti-aging. Highlight under the eyebrows with SAND. Use a brown eyepencil and apply it with a small angled brush drawing a line along the whole crease and a bit outwards.
2. Over the brown line blend in HAVANA. Above HAVANA blend in FAWN to get a nice blending.
3. Apply BANANA over the mobile eyelid and to the inner corner of the eye apply SAND.
4. Apply Stila’s Stay All Day waterproof liquid eyeliner in Cobalt and make a wing.
5. Along to the lower lashline apply HAVANA and blend out with FAWN. Line the waterline with a beige kajal.
6. Apply mascara and put on Ardell’s false eyelashes in Scanties. (Eye makeup done)
7. Use Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit to contour the face and apply Sigma powder blush in Cheeky over the cheeks.
8. Line the lips with Rimmel London Exaggerate Full Lip Liner 063 Eastend Snob and over it apply Kryolan’s lipstick LF424.
9. Set the make up with Kryolan’s ultra setting spray. Done!

Glamour Sparks

Till denna sminkning har jag mest använt mig av Kryolans produkter. De är verkligen fantastiska och jag önskar att kunna testa på mer av deras smink snart.

2. In the crease blend in an aubergine colored eyeshadow (Aubergine) and blend outwards.
3. Highlight under the eyebrows with Kryolan’s Glamour Sparks in Silver Sparks. Apply it also to the inner corner of the eye and over the inner and middle part of the mobile eyelid.
4. Over the outer part of the mobile eyelid apply a pink eyeshadow (Golden Pink).
5. Under the lower lashline apply the aubergine colored eyeshadow and blend out with the pink.
6. Apply Kryolan’s cake eyeliner in black using their cake eyeliner sealer and make a wing.
7. Line the waterline with Kryolan’s beige kajal.
8. Apply mascara and put on Ardell’s eyelashes Scanties Black.
9. As a face contour use Bronzing Veil. Highlight the cheekbones with Luminize and apply Collistar’s silk effect blusher/eyeshadow on the cheeks.
10. On the lips first apply Kryolan’s pink lippencil 906 and over it the lipstick LF404. Set the makeup with Kryolan’s ultra setting spray. Done!

2. Blend in Strawberry Bon Bon above the crease.
3. Apply Champagne Truffle over the mobile eyelid, in the inner corner of the eye and highlight with it under the eyebrows.
4. Apply Candiied Violet on the outer part of the mobile eyelid and blend outwards and up in the crease. Apply it also along the lower lashline.
5. Apply a glitter glue over the mobile eyelid and over it apply a white loose glitter.
6. Line the waterline with a beige kajal. Apply Sigma standout eyes gel eyeliner in Wicked and make a wing.
7. Apply mascara and put on Ardell’s Runway Lashes Claudia.
8. Under the eyes apply Benefit’s Ooh La Lift.
9. As a face contour use Bronzing Veil. Highlight the cheekbones with MAC’s eyeshadow Naked Lunch and apply Collistar’s silk effect blusher/eyeshadow nr2 on the cheeks.
10. On the lips apply Kryolan’s lipstick LF423. Set the make up with Motives Cosmetics No More Shine makeup setting spray. Done!

2. Blend in Wit above the crease.
3. Blend in Perception in the crease and blend outwards and apply it over the upper mobile eyelid.
4. Over the mobile eyelid close to the lashes apply Intellect. Apply Intellect also under the lower lashline and blend out with Perception.
5. In the inner corner of the eye apply Motives Cosmetics Pressed Eyeshadow in Pearl.
6. Line the waterline with Kryolan’s beige kajal.
7. Apply Sigma Stadout eyes geleyeliner in Wicked and make a wing. In the inner part of the eye over the black eyeliner apply KIKO’s colour shock long lasting eyeshadow Inspiration Emerald 107. Apply two lines also along the eyeliner wing, one over and one under.
8. Apply mascara and put on Red Cherry Lashes nr523.
9. As a face contour use Bronzing Veil. On the cheeks apply Face Stockholm blush in Celestial and highlight the cheekbones with Benefit’s Sun Beam.
10. On the lips apply Kryolan’s lipstick LF401. Done!

Rainbow Land

Veckan har varit fullspäckad och jag har inte riktigt hunnit med bloggen. Ska bli skönt med helg nu. Hoppas eran vecka har varit bra och att ni får en underbar helg.
Denna färgglada eyeliner gjorde jag för skojs skull och för att kunna använda så många färgglada ögonskuggor som möjligt. 🙂

Questa settimana è stata molto intensa per cui non ho avuto tempo di seguire il blog tanto. Finalmente è fine settimana. Spero che abbiate passato una bella settimana e vi auguro un bel weekend!
Questa eyeliner colorato ho fatto più per divertimento e per poter usare più ombretti colorati possibili. 🙂

1. Prime the eyelids with Urban Decay’s eyeshadow primer potion anti-aging. Apply a light eyeshadow all over the eyelids and under the eyebrows.
2. Using NYX jumbo eye pencil in MILK and a thin eyeshadow brush apply it along upper lashline as an eyeliner.
3. Over the white eyeliner apply colorful eyeshadow of your preference. I used the one you see on the picture above.
4. With a thin eyeliner brush apply Kryolan’s cake eyeliner, using the cake eyeliner sealer, close to the lashline and around the whole eyeliner.
5. Under the lower lashline I applied GILDED from the Tamanna palette.
6. Line the waterline with a beige kajal.
7. Apply mascara and put on Sugarpills Eyelash Overdose false eyelashes.
8. On the lips apply NYX soft matte lip cream in Addis Ababa. Done!

2. Blend in CLAY lightely above and in the crease.
3. Under the lower lashline apply RAIN and blend out with CLAY.
4. In the inner corner of the eye apply Motives Cosmetics pressed eyeshadow Pearl.
5. Line the waterline with a beige kajal.
6. Apply Sigma Standout eyes gel eyeliner in Liberally Toasted and make a wing.
7. Apply mascara and put on Red Cherry Eyelashes in Wispies.
8. As a face contour use Bronzing Veil. Apply the pink blush and highlight the cheekbones with Luminize.
9. On the lips apply Kryolan Lipstick LF415. Set the make up with Motives Cosmetics No More Shine Make Up setting spray. Done!
