Easter Makeup 2017

We started with some small Easter celebrations already this morning. I had hidden the childrens Easter eggs together with a present, so we had a small Easter egg hunt after breakfast this morning. The children were so excited and happy! Then what I love about them is that they show their appreciation. I never want them to take anything for granted and I think they’ve started to understand what I mean now. ❤

For this Easter I wanted a fresh colorful makeup and this is the result. I used a soft pink lipstick to this look with a touch of glitter to the lower central lip, (which was more for the photo, I would never eat with glitter on my lips 😉 ). The lipstick comes from Euphidra, the brand I’m promoting and doing makeup for around different pharmacies here in Florence. It’s from their new serie that recently launched. I’m so exited because the quality and the shades are amazing. As soon as I’ll have the time I’m going to do a post showing you all their new lipsticks.

I want to wish you a fantastic Easter weekend and send you all lots of love! 🐣🐰

Pink Spring

Here in Florence it’s been a few days with incredibly warm weather for the season. I think we had 24 degrees yesterday and close to that also today. It’s really wonderful and all the trees and flowers are starting to bloom out really fast now. The sunsets at night are spectacular and I get so inspired by all these wonderful colors.
My makeup inspiration of today’s look come from what nature offers right now, beautiful spring colors. Then Easter is coming up soon and I love to be colorful at this time of the year.

Dubai

I hope you’ve had a really nice weekend! I’ve just been relaxing since it’s been raining almost the whole Saturday and Sunday. This new week started as the old one ended with rain! So now I really hope to see some sun tomorrow.
I’ve been preparing this look even though the light wasn’t on my side, it’s so frustrating when you’ve to take 300 pictures just to get 5 decent ones… Probably should get myself a ringlight, but I still prefer taking pictures in daylight. Sometimes I ask myself why I’m doing this, wasting hours on taking pictures, but when the passion is stronger than the common sense you just can’t stop yourself! 🙂

The look I created today is made with Huda Beauty’s Textured Shadows Palette Rose Gold Edition. The look is a bit more dramatic since I combined the eyemakeup with strong red lips. That’s how I wanted this look to be, but I’m sure it would look great also with a pair of nude lips.

Have a wonderful week now! ❤

True Love Asks for Nothing

For Valentine’s Day this year I suggest a shimmery halo makeup. Choose the color combination you like most and your eyes will look gorgeous. I tried this combination in brown and turquoise shades which isn’t that classic but the effect you get is amazing.

I want to wish you a fantastic Valentine’s Day with much love. Myself will work the whole day and spread love with my makeup brushes 😉 . I usually never celebrate Valentine’s Day since it’s too commercial for my taste. I like to be nice and show love everyday and not closing it in one day. But the meaning of Valentine’s Day is beautiful so enjoy it as much as you can!

Pink and Gold Christmas

Today’s look goes in pink, purple and gold shades. These colors make me feel happy and I think it can be a fun alternative look for Christmas, or for one of all the upcoming Christmas parties. These are great shades to make green and brown eyes pop even more.
The AMC eyeliner gel 74 from Inglot that I’ve used for this look is one of the best gel eyeliners I’ve ever tried. I love the purple shade but even better is that this eyeliner really last the whole day without smudging nor ending up in the crease. As I wrote in an earlier post, it’s so hard to find reliable waterproof gel eyeliners, so I’m really glad I took the chance to try it. I’m also trying out their black one now, nr 77, and I’m in love with that one too.

Yesterday I worked, (I did the makeup on 13 people!), and my last working day before the Christmas holidays will be this Friday.
We’re leaving on Saturday morning for the north of Italy and after that we’re going up to Sweden. Tonight and tomorrow I’ve to do all the packing.

Have a great Wednesday!!!

Enigma

Finally I’ve been able to create a look using only my eyeshadows from Make Up Store. I bought them this summer and I’ve been using them a lot, it’s just that I haven’t had the proper time to take pictures of how the makeup turn out using them. These warm shades are really classic and easy to wear. I matched the eyemakeup with a pair of red lips. December is a month where I think many of use like wearing red lipstick. Red lips looks also great, maybe even greater, with just a light eyemakeup. The version I did I would suggest as an evening makeup.

Now before Chrismas I’ve some new looks ready that I’ll show you in upcoming posts. Have a great start of the new week!
