Day turns into night

So I finally gave The Balm Cosmetics Meet Matt(e) Nude eyeshadow palette a new chance and I think somehow I like it a bit more now. 🙂 I figured out that to be able to do nice blendings with these eyeshadows you need much more product on the makeup brush than I thought. Otherwise the colors turn to fade out a bit. These eyeshadows are pigmented but a bit powdery. I’m used to more compact eyeshadows with more pigmentation so normally I’m careful to not apply too much color at once. But as I said, with these once from this particular palette, I need to insist much more with the eyeshadows from the beginning to be able to get these nice transitions from one color to another. I love beautiful blended eye makeups so it’s important getting to ”know” the eyeshadows you work with. It’s still not my favorite palette but it’s absolutely approved.
To this neutral makeup I added a pair of orange lips. Orange is really one of the hottest colors this season and I must say I really like it!

Another product I decided to give another chance is Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Cream Kit. I haven’t used it so much since I got it last year. I remember thinking it was a bit to heavy on the face. But also here I decided to rediscover the product. What’s really important here, at least for me, with these creamy shades is to warm them up before applying them onto the face. I always do that with creamy products that goes onto the face but with these once you need a little bit more time. I take a small amount of product and apply it to the top of my hand and with the finger I warm it up in circular moves. When the product is soft enough I start to apply and blend them on the specific part on the face. This is a perfect cream kit to use both professionally and privately.

1. Prime the eyelids with Urban Decay’s eyeshadow primer potion anti-aging. Apply Matt Malloy under the eyebrow and to the inner corner of the eye.
2. Blend in Matt Singh over the brow bone.
3. Mix Matt Garcia and Matt Rosen and blend into the crease and slightly above.
4. Apply Matt Wood to the outer part of the mobile eyelid and blend outwards and up in the crease.
5. Apply NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in MILK over the mobile eyelid. Over it apply Matt Lombardi.
6. Apply Matt Wood along the lower lashline.
7. Blend out Matt Wood with Matt Hung.
8. Line the waterline with Urban Decay 24/7 Waterline Eyepencil in Rail.
9. Apply Sigma’s Standout Eyes Gel Eyeliner in Liberally Toasted and make a wing.
10. Apply Eyeko’s Skinny Brush Mascara and put on Ardell’s Color Impact Demi Wispies in Wine.
11. Contour the face using Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Cream Kit. Apply a light orange blush to the cheeks.
12. On the lips apply Kryolan’s lipstick LF403 and over it a bit of Yves Saint Laurent Gloss Volupté 1 Golden.
13. Set the makeup with Urban Decay’s de-slick makeup setting spray. Done!

Respectability

Dagens sminkning är gjord med Urban Decay’s Gwen Stefani eyeshadow palette. Efter att ha provat den ett antal gånger kan jag intyga och säga att jag verkligen gillar de här ögonskuggorna. Det var länge sedan Urban Decay gjorde något nytt som fick mig att höja på ögonbrynen och vilja köpa och prova det. Om en palett ska få min totala uppmärksamhet måste den erbjuda en bra mix med matta, satinerade och skimriga färger, men de jag alltid söker mer av är framför allt de matta.
Jag önsker er en bra start på veckan.

Today’s makeup is made using the Urban Decay’s Gwen Stefani eyeshadow palette. After I’ve been using it a few times I can certainly say that I really like these eyeshadows. It’s been a long time since Urban Decay came out with something new that made me want to buy and try it out. An eyeshadow palette can just get my complete attention if it has a good mix between matte, satinated and shimmery eyeshadows, but the ones that I value more are the matte ones.

Il trucco di oggi è fatto con la palette Gwen Stefani di Urban Decay. Dopo averla provata più volte posso confermare che mi piacciono davvero questi ombretti. E’ da molto tempo che Urban Decay non è uscito con un prodotto nuovo che ho voluto comprare e provare. Per avere la mia completa attenzione una palette d’ombretti deve avere un giusto mix tra colori opachi, satinati e scintillanti, ma quelli che valorizzo di più sono quelli opachi.

1. Prime the eyelids with Urban Decay’s primer potion anti-aging. Highlight under the eyebrows with Blonde.
2. Mix Anaheim and Zone and blend them in above the crease.
3. To the outer V apply Punk and blend outwards and up in the crease.
4. Over the mobile eyelid apply 1987.
5. Highlight the inner corner of the eye with Pop.
6. Apply NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in MILK under the lower lashline and in the waterline. Over it apply Danger.
7. In the inner part, under the lower lashline, apply Harajuku.
8. Apply mascara and put on Ardell’s Natural Lashes nr 104.
9. Contour the face using ABH Contour Kit. On the cheeks apply Sigma’s Powder Blush in Cheeky.
10. Line the lips using Kryolan’s red Faceliner. Over it apply YVS Gloss Volupté 1 Golden.
11. Set the makeup with UD de-slick makeup setting spray. Done!

Those Special Lights

Idag visar jag er en riktigt enkel och snabb sminkning som kan piffa upp vilken vardags sminkning som helst.

2. Blend in PEACH VELVET above the crease.
3. Right under blend in NAKED 2.
4. In the crease blend in FAINT.
5. Over the mobile eyelid appyl FOXY.
6. Apply NYX Jumbo eye pencil in MILK in the waterline and under the lower lashline. Over it apply CATTLEYA. In the inner corner of the eye apply a bit of LILAC WONDER.
7. Apply Illamasqua’s Precision Gel Eyeliner in Infinity and make a wing.
8. Apply mascara and put on Ardell’s Natural Wispies in Black.
9. Contour the face using ABH Contour Kit. On the cheeks apply a light pink blush.
10. On the lips apply Nabla’s Diva Crime modern matte lipstick in Vertigo.
11. Set the makeup with UD de-slick makeup setting spray. Done!

 

Light Up

Sverige fortsätter att leverera underbart sensommar väder och man kan inte annat än njuta. Barnen är ute och leker hela dagarna och har det hur bra som helst.

8. Apply Stila’s Stay All Day Waterproof liquid eyeliner in Dark Brown and make a wing.
9. Apply mascara and put on Ardell’s Wispies in Brown.
10. Contour the face using ABH Contour Kit. Apply the pink powder blush from Too Faced the secret to no makeup makeup palette.
11. Line the lips with kryolan’s lippencil 906 and over it apply Nabla Diva Crime lipstick in Vertigo.
12. Set the makeup with Urban Decay’s de-slick makeup setting spray. Done!

I’ll keep loving you

Här vid kusten har vi det jättebra även om det är först nu såhär de sista dagarna man verkligen börjar slappna av. Barnen älskar havet och varje kväll efter middagen har de barndans så allt är perfekt.
Dagens sminkning är till hälften neutral till hälften färgglad. En annan typ av sminkning som kan vara kul att använda till någon av sommarens fester.

Here at the coast everything’s great even though it’s first now these last days we’re starting to really relax.The kids love the sea and every night they have kids dance after dinner so everthing’s perfect.
Today’s make up is half neutral half colorful. Another makeup that can be fun to use to some of all the summer parties.

Qui sulla costa stiamo benissimo anche se è solo ora questi ultimi giorni che ci stiamo veramente rilassando. I bambini amano il mare e ogni sera dopo cena hanno bimboballo per cui è tutto perfetto.
Il trucco di oggi è a metà neutrale metà colorato. Un altro trucco che può essere divertente usare per qualche feste d’estate.

2. Blend in Desert above the crease.
3. Blend in Rain into the crease.
4. Mix Earth and Ebony and apply it to the outer V and blend outwards and up in the crease.
5. Apply MAC’s Paint Pot in Bare Study over the mobile eyelid and to the inner corner of the eye.
6. Over it add some gold glitter using Urban Decay’s Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner in Baked.
7. Apply NYX Jumbo eyepencil in MILK in the waterline and apply it also under the lower lashline. Pack on Poison Plum in the waterline and right under the lower lashline.
8. Blend out Posion Plum with Love+.
9. Under Love+ blend in Flamepoint.
10. To finish blend in Buttercupcake under Flamepoint.
11. Apply Sigma’s Standout eyes gel eyeliner in Wicked and make a wing.
12. Apply mascara and put on Ardell’s Natural Lashes nr 104.
13. Contour the face using ABH Contour Kit. Apply the pink powder blush from Too Faced the secret to no makeup makeup palette.
14. On the lips apply Motives Cosmetics Rich Formula Lipstick in Magenta. Set the makeup with Urban Decay’s de-slick makeup setting spray. Done!

Realness

Jag gjorde en liknande sminkning för inte så länge sedan men jag var tvungen att använda dessa vackra ögonskuggor igen. Så här får ni ett annat alternativ på hur man kan mixa dessa fina färger.

2. Blend in PETRA above the crease.
3. Apply MIMESIS to the outer part of the mobile eyelid and blend outwards and up in the crease.
4. Over the mobile eyelid apply CATTLEYA.
5. In the inner corner of the eye apply MADREPERLA.
6. Line the waterline with NYX jumbo eyepencil in MILK. Over it apply EXTRAVIRGIN. Apply EXTRAVIRGIN also close to the lower lashline.
7. Blend in CITRON right under EXTRAVIRGIN.
8. Apply Sigma’s standout eyes gel eyeliner in Stunningly Ladylike and make a wing. Apply it also in the inner corner of the eye creating a cat eye.
9. Apply mascara and put on Ardell’s Invisiband Scanties in Black.
10. Use Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit to contour the face. On the cheeks apply the pink powder blush from Too Faced the secret to no makeup makeup palette.
11. Line the lips with Kryolan’s Lip pencil 906 and then apply 3 Concept Eyes Lipstick nr 09.
12. Set the makeup with Urban Decay’s de-slick makeup setting spray. Done!

Citron

Ok, kan jag bara säga att ögonskuggorna från Nabla är helt fantastiska, vilken kvalitet! Nu vill jag ju ha allihopa! 😉 De är så vackra och otroligt lätta att applicera och sota med. Färgerna är riktigt vibranta och man kan inte bli annat än glad när man hittar sådana här produkter. De är verkligen att rekommendera.

Ok, so can I just say that the eyeshadows from Nabla are completely amazing, what a quality! Now I want all of them! 😉 They’re so beautiful and easy to work and blend with. The colors are really vibrant and you can’t get anything else than happy when you find these kind of products. I can really recommend them.

9. Apply Sigma Standout eyes gel eyeliner in WICKED and make a wing.
10. Apply mascara and put on Ardell’s eyelashes nr104.
11. Contour the face using Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit. Apply Sigma’s powder blush in Cheeky on the cheeks.
12. On the lips apply Motives Cosmetics Mineral Lipstick in Beso. Set the make up with Motives Cosmetics No More Shine makeup setting spray. Done!

2. Blend in Narciso above the crease.
3. Apply Petra over the outer part of the mobile eyelid and blend outwards and up in the crease.
4. In the inner corner of the eye and over the inner and middle part of the mobile eyelid apply Fawn.
5. Line the waterline with NYX MILK pencil and apply it also along the lower lashline. Apply Aphrodite over NYX MILK pencil from the inner part to about the middle.
6. From the middle to the outer part apply Cattleya.
7. Apply KIKO’s Colour Shock Long Lasting eyeshadow 107 Inspiration Emerald as an eyeliner and make a wing.
8. Apply mascara and put on Ardell Wispies in Brown. Close to the lashline apply a thin line using Stila Stay all Day waterproof liquid eyeliner in Dark Brown.
9. Use Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit to contour the face and apply Sigma’s powder blush in Cheeky.
10. On the lips apply NYX Xtreme Lipcream in Bonfire. Set the make up with Urban Decay’s Chill makeup setting spray. Done!

6. Line the waterline with NYX jumbo eyepencil in MILK and apply it also along the lower lashline. In the waterline and right under the lashline apply the blue eyeshadow.
7. Blend out the blue eyeshadow with the turquoise eyeshadow.
8. Apply Sigma’s standout eyes gel eyeliner in Wicked and make a wing. In the inner corner of the eye apply the yellow eyeshadow and apply it also between the eyeliner wing and the purple eyeshadow.
9. Apply mascara and put on Red Cherry Lashes nr13.
10. Use Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit to contour the face. Apply the pink powder blush from Too Faced the secret to no makeup makeup palette on the cheeks.
11. On the lips apply Motives Cosmetics Rich Formula lipstick in Magenta. Set the make up with Motives Cosmetics no more shine makeup setting spray. Done!

Chemistry

Här kommer första sminkningen jag gjort med ögonskuggorna Infinity från KIKO.
Älskar färgerna och de passar verkligen jättebra tillsammans. Kvaliten är riktigt bra och sminkningen höll från morgon till kväll utan problem.

5. Over the middle mobile eyelid apply KIKO’s infinity eyeshadow 261.
6. Over the outer mobile eyelid apply KIKO’s infinity+ eyeshadow 407. Blend out any edges between the eyeshadows to get smooth transitions from one color to another.
7. In the inner corner of the eye apply KIKO’s infinity+ eyeshadow 401.
8. Line the waterline with NYX jumbo eyepencil in MILK and apply it also along the lower lashline. Over it apply KIKO’s infinity eyeshadow 249.
9. Blend out the purple using KIKO’s infinity eyeshadow 226.
10. Apply Sigma Standout eyes gel eyeliner in Liberally Toasted and make a wing.
11. Apply mascara and put on Ardell’s Wispies in Brown.
12. Contour the face using Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit. On the cheeks apply Sigma’s Powder blush in Cheeky.
13. On the lips apply NYX Butter Gloss in Maple Blondie. Set the make up with Urban Decay’s Chill makeup setting spray. Done!
