Summer Breeze

This is a look I created inspired by a warm yet breezy summer day. I used very soft shimmery colors mixed with a few matte ones just to get a nice soft blending. I added a pair of blue false eyelashes to finish the look and even though you can go strong on the lipcolor here I prefered a soft glossy shade just to enhance the eyes even more. Probably for a night out I would choose a more intense lipcolor, quite likely in a pink shade.
I used Urban Decay’s Gwen Stefani eyeshadow palette to create the eye makeup.

1. Prime the eyelids with Urban Decay’s eyeshadow primer potion anti-aging. Highlight with Blonde under the eyebrows.
2. Blend in Stark over the brow bone.
3. Above the crease blend in Anaheim.
4. Right under Anaheim blend in Zone.
5. To the outer corner of the eye apply Punk and blend outwards and up in the crease.
6. Apply NYX Jumbo eye pencil in MILK all over the mobile eyelid.
7. In the inner corner of the eye and inner part of the mobile eyelid apply Pop.
8. Over the inner/middle part of the mobile eyelid apply 1987.
9. Over the middle/outer part of the mobile eyelid apply Harajuku.
10. Along the lower lashline apply NYX jumbo eye pencil Horse Raddish.
11. Over it apply 1987.
12. Line upper and lower wanterline with Urban Decay’s 24/7 glide-on eye pencil in INK. Over it tap on Danger.
13. Apply Sigma’s Standout eyes gel eyeliner in Liberally Toasted and make a wing.
14. Apply Eyeko’s skinny brush mascara and apply Ardell’s Color Impact Demi Wispies in Blue. (On the lower lashles I applied a green mascara.)
15. Contour the face using Anastasia Beverly Hills Cream Contour Kit. Apply Sephora’s orange blush on the cheeks.
16. Line and color the lips using Marc Jacobs (P)outliner Longwear Lippencil 302 HONEY(BUN). Over it apply Marc Jacobs Lipstick New Nudes 108 HAVE WE MET? Then apply a bit of Yves Saint Laurent Gloss Volupté 1 Golden over.
17. Set the makeup with Urban Decay’s Chill make up setting spray. Done!

Coffee Beats

Idag visar jag er en enkel sminkning med brun eyeliner och bruna lösögonfransar som passar lika bra på dagen som på kvällen. Det enda jag skulle ändra på kvällen är läppstiftet till något mer dramatiskt.

Today I show you a simple makeup with brown eyeliner and brown false eyelashes that fit as good daytime as nighttime. The only thing I would change nighttime is the lipstick to something more dramatic.

Oggi vi mostro un trucco molto semplice che va benissimo sia da giorno che da sera. L’unica cosa che cambierei la sera è il rossetto ad un colore di più dramatico.

1. Prime the eyelids with UD primer potion anti-aging. Sweep in White Lies over the browbone.
2. Highlight under the eyebrows with Blonde.
3. Blend in Peach Smoothie above the crease.
4. Right under Peach Smoothe blend in Mango Tango.
5. In the crease blend in Cocoa Bear.
6. Over the mobile eyelid apply Bathwater.
7. Highlight in the inner corner with Pop.
8. Apply NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in MILK in the waterline and under the lower lashline. Over it apply Motives Cosmetic’s eyeshadow Pacific Sea.
9. Under the lower lashline close to the inner corner apply Mango Tango.
10. Apply Sigma’s Standout Eyes gel eyeliner in Liberally Toasted and make a wing.
11. Apply mascara and put on Ardell’s Natural Wispies in Brown.
12. Contour the face using ABH Contour Kit. On the cheeks apply Sigma’s powder blush in Cheeky.
13. Line and color the lips with Make Up Store’s Lippencil Fairytale Dream and over it apply YSL Gloss Volupté in Golden.
14. Set the makeup with UD de-slick makeup setting spray. Done!

Respectability

Dagens sminkning är gjord med Urban Decay’s Gwen Stefani eyeshadow palette. Efter att ha provat den ett antal gånger kan jag intyga och säga att jag verkligen gillar de här ögonskuggorna. Det var länge sedan Urban Decay gjorde något nytt som fick mig att höja på ögonbrynen och vilja köpa och prova det. Om en palett ska få min totala uppmärksamhet måste den erbjuda en bra mix med matta, satinerade och skimriga färger, men de jag alltid söker mer av är framför allt de matta.
Jag önsker er en bra start på veckan.

Today’s makeup is made using the Urban Decay’s Gwen Stefani eyeshadow palette. After I’ve been using it a few times I can certainly say that I really like these eyeshadows. It’s been a long time since Urban Decay came out with something new that made me want to buy and try it out. An eyeshadow palette can just get my complete attention if it has a good mix between matte, satinated and shimmery eyeshadows, but the ones that I value more are the matte ones.

Il trucco di oggi è fatto con la palette Gwen Stefani di Urban Decay. Dopo averla provata più volte posso confermare che mi piacciono davvero questi ombretti. E’ da molto tempo che Urban Decay non è uscito con un prodotto nuovo che ho voluto comprare e provare. Per avere la mia completa attenzione una palette d’ombretti deve avere un giusto mix tra colori opachi, satinati e scintillanti, ma quelli che valorizzo di più sono quelli opachi.

3. To the outer V apply Punk and blend outwards and up in the crease.

9. Contour the face using ABH Contour Kit. On the cheeks apply Sigma’s Powder Blush in Cheeky.
10. Line the lips using Kryolan’s red Faceliner. Over it apply YVS Gloss Volupté 1 Golden.
11. Set the makeup with UD de-slick makeup setting spray. Done!

1990’s Look with a Twist

Jag såg en så himla snygg bild på Cindy Crawford för ett par veckor sedan. En av hennes tidningsomslag för tidningen Cosmopolitan under 90-talet. Jag blev sådar superinspirerad att jag vaknade klockan fem på morgonen bara för att kunna stå en halvtimme extra och sminka mig. Hur snygg är hon inte? Det går ju absolut inte att komma i närheten av hennes skönhet men hon var i alla fall min inspiration for denna look även om jag la på lite glitter och extra långa ögonfransar.

I saw such a gorgeous picture of Cindy Crawford a couple of weeks ago. It was a picture of on of her coverphotos for Cosmopolitan during the 1990’s. I got super inspired and woke up five o’clock that morning just to be able to stay half an hour more do my makeup. How stunning isn’t she? It’s absolutely impossible to even get close to her beautifulness but she’s was my inspiration for this look even though I added glitter and extra long lashes.

Ho visto una splendida foto di Cindy Crawford un paio di settimane fa. Era una delle sue foto di copertina per il giornale Cosmopolitan durante gli anni 90. Mi ha ispirato tanto al punto da svegliarmi alle cinque del mattino solo per potermi truccare quella mezzora in più. Ma quanto è spledida? E’ impossibile solo avvicinarsi alla sua bellezza ma è lei che mi ha ispirato a fare questo trucco anche se ho aggiunto glitter e ciglie finte lunghissime.

5. Apply Serious to the outer part of the mobile eyelid and blend outwards and up in the crease.
6. Over the mobile eyelid apply Harajuku.
7. In the inner corner highlight with Pop.
8. Along the lower lashline apply Serious.
9. Under Serious blend in Anaheim.
10. Over the mobile eyelid apply a glitter glue and over it pack on a pink loose glitter.
11. Line upper and lower waterline using UD 24/7 glide-on eyepencil in West.
12. Apply Illamasqua’s Precision gel eyeliner in Infinity and make a wing.
13. Apply mascara and put on Sugarpill’s Eyelash Overdose in Adore.
14. Contour the face using ABH contour Kit. On the cheeks apply Sigma’s powder blush in Cheeky.
15. Line the lips with Make Up Store’s Lippencil Fairytale Dream and KIKO’s Precision Lippencil 302. Over it I applied a mix of Kryolan’s lipsticks LF405,423,424.
16. Set the makeup with UD de-slick makeup setting spray. Done!
