Treat every day like a vacation

Nu håller vi äntligen på att flytta tillbaka hem efter månader av renovering. Jag har fixat, städat och kört hem en massa flyttlådor hela veckan. Det verkar aldrig ta slut…hur mycket saker har man egentligen!? Längtar att få lite ”ordning” på tillvaron igen.
Med denna sminkning jag gjorde för ett tag sedan önskar jag er alla en underbar helg!

Now we’re finally about to move back home again after months of renovation. I’ve been fixing, cleaning and bringing back home a lot of moving boxes this week. I can’t see the end yet…is it possible to have this many things!? I can’t wait to get organized again.
With this make up I made a while ago I want to wish you a beautiful weekend!

Ora stiamo finalmente per rientrare a casa nostra dopo mesi di ristrutturazione. Ho sistemato, pulito e riportato scatole tutta la settimana. Sembra di non finire mai…ma quante cose è possibile avere!? Non vedo l’ora di ritornare ed avere tutto più o meno organizzato.
Con questo trucco che ho fatto un pò di tempo fa vi auguro un bellissimo fine settimana!

1. Prime the eyelids with Urban Decay’s primer potion anti-aging. Sweap in AIR over the browbone.
2. Blend in DESERT above the crease.
3. Under DESERT blend in RAIN.
4. Mix DRIFTWOON and EARTH and blend into the crease and outwards.
5. Apply NYX jumbo eyepencil over the mobile eyelid. Apply Sugarpill’s Pressed eyeshadow Diamond Eyes in the inner corner of the eye, over the inner part of the mobile eyelid and highlight with it under the eyebrows.
6. Apply Acidberry over the rest of the mobile eyelid.
7. Under the lower lashline apply Anastasia Beverly Hills Covet waterproof eyepencil in LAVISH and blend out with EARTH.
8. Under EARTH blend in FIRE.
9. Blend in a bit of LOVE+ above the crease.
10. Line upper and lower waterline with Urban Decay’s 24/7 glide-on eyepencil in WEST.
11. Apply Stila stay all day waterproof liquid eyeliner in Intense Black and make a wing.
12. Apply mascara and put on Ardell’s eyelashes nr104.
13. As a face contour use Bronzing Veil. Highlight the cheekbones with MAC’s eyeshadow NAKED LUNCH and apply Collistar’s silk effect blusher/eyeshadow nr2 on the cheeks.
14. On the lips apply Kryolan’s lipstick LF402. Done!

Quick and Easy Holiday Glam Make Up Look

Den här sminkningen är verkligen enkel att få ihop med endast tre ögonskuggor och lite glitter. Perfekt som både jul- och nyårssminkning. Så om man inte har mycket tid över kan denna vara ett bra alternativ.
Idag ska jag cykla in till Linköping och gå till min frisör för att bli lite julfin. Studio e-hair är där det händer! 🙂

This make up is really simple to create with just three eyeshadows and some glitter. Perfect for both Christmas and New Year. So if you don’t have much time over this one can be a good alternative.

Questo trucco e veramente facile da realizzare con solo tre ombretti ed un pò di glitter. Perfetto sia per Natale che per Capodanno. Per cui se non hai tantissimo tempo per farti il trucco questo può essere una buona alternativa.
Oggi vado in centro dal mio parrucchiere che mi sistemerà i capelli giusto in tempo per Natale. Studio e-Hair è dove succede! 🙂

1. Prime the eyelids with Urban Decay’s eyeshadow primer potion anti-aging. Apply M-530 under the eyebrows and over the browbone.
2. Apply NYX jumbo eyepencil in MILK over the mobile eyelid. Apply S-516 in the inner corner of the eye and over the mobile eyelid.
3. Blend in I-544 in the crease and blend it outwards. Apply it also along the lower lashline and blend out.
4. Apply a glitter glue over the outer part of the mobile eyelid and over it a loose glitter of your preference.
5. Line upper and lower waterline with Urban Decay’s 24/7 glide-on eye pencil in Demolition.
6. Apply Stila Stay All Day waterproof liquid eyeliner in Intense Black and make a wing.
7. Under each eye apply Benefit’s Ooh La Lift.
8. Apply mascara and put on Ardell’s Natural Wispies.
9. As a face contour use Bronzing Veil. Highlight the cheekbones with MAC’s eyeshadow Naked Lunch and apply Sephora’s blush Romantic Rose.
10. On the lips apply Kryolan’s Lipstick LF424. Set the make up with Motives Cosmetics No More Shine makeup setting spray. Done!

Christmas Look

Resan hem till Sverige gick jättebra trots att det blev en lång resdag först och främst för barnen. Men nu är vi hemma och börjar äntligen komma in i den rätta julkänslan. Idag har vi varit med barnen på Busfabriken så de riktigt fick leka av sig och ikväll ska vi äta pizza med min bror.
Som ni kanske förstår har jag förberett en hel del sminkningar innan vi åkte. Denna sminkning tycker jag kan vara riktigt fin till jul. Vad jag använt hittar ni längre ner.

The trip home to Sweden went really good even though it was a long day especially for the children. But now we’re home and starting to get the into the right Christmas spirit. Today we’ve been to a place with the children where they could play the whole day and tonight we’re going to eat pizza togehter with my brother.
As you probably can understand I’ve been preparing a lot of makeups before we went. This make up I think can fit really got for Christmas. What procust I used to create it you can find further down.

Il viaggio per la Svezia è andato benissimo anche se la giornata era lunghissima specialmente per i bambini. Ma ora siamo a casa a stiamo entrando nello giusto spirito natalizio. Oggi siamo stati in un posto con i bambini dove hanno potuto giocare tutto il giorno e stasera mangeremo pizza insieme al mio fratello.

3. Mix WIT and UNDERSTANDING and blend them in above the crease.
4. In the inner corner of the eye and inner part of the mobile eyelid to about the middle apply I-524.
5. From the middle mobile eyelid to the outer part apply D-825.
6. Blend in ME-828 to the crease and blend outwards. Apply it also along the lower lashline and blend out with D-825.
7. Line upper and lower waterline with Urban Decay’s 24/7 glide-on eyepencil in Demolition.
8. Apply Stila’s Stay all Day waterproof liquid eyeliner in Intense Black and make a wing.
9. Under the eyeliner wing apply Urban Decay’s heavy metal glitter eyeliner in BAKED.
10. Apply mascara and put on Ardell’s Demi Wispies in Black.
11. As a face contour use Bronzing Veil. Highlight the cheekbones with MAC’s eyeshadow NAKED LUNCH and apply Sigma’s cheeky blush.
12. On the lips apply Kryolan’s lipstick LF426. Set the make up with Motives Cosmetics No More Shine makeup setting spray. Done!

Soft Holiday Make Up

Hoppas ni har en fin start på veckan! Vi har haft en skön långhelg då det var röd dag här i Italien igår. Men nu har veckan dragit igång och det kommer att vara fullt upp varje dag. Vi håller på att fixa det sista i lägenheten plus att vi måste organisera en hel del innan vi reser hem till Sverige över jul.
Idag visar jag er denna soft sotade jul sminkning där jag använt mig av Too Faced Chocolate Bar. Jag älskar denna palett! Och såklart, precis efter jag köpt den meddelande Too Faced lanseringen av deras nya palett som heter Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar… Jag får inte fundera på det nu… 😉

I hope you’re having a great start of the week! We’ve had a nice long weekend since it was holiday here in Italy yesterday. But now the week has started and it’ll be busy everyday. We’re fixing the last things in the apartment plus that we’ve to oraganize all things before our trip home to Sweden for Christmas.
Today I show you this soft holiday make up where I’ve used Too Faced Chocolate Bar. Love this palette! And of course, right after I bought it Too Faced announced the launch of their new palette called Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar palette… I can’t think about that now… 😉

Spero che abbiate avuto un buon inizio della settimana. Noi abbiamo avuto un fine settimana lungo abbastanza tranquillo. Questa settimana sarà molto più movimentata dove dobbiamo sistemare le ultime cose nell’appartamento e organizzare tutto prime del nostro viaggo a casa in Svezia per natale.
Vi mostro questo trucco soft smokey oggi perfetto per le feste. Per crearlo ho usato la Chocolate Bar della Too Faced. Adoro questa palette! Ovviamente appena l’avevo comprata Too Faced annucia il lancio della loro nuova palette che si chiama Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar… Non ci posso pensare a quella ora… 😉

1. Prime the eyelids with Urban Decay’s eyeshadow primer potion anti-aging. Apply White Chocolate all over the browbone.
2. Blend in Salted Caramel above the crease.
3. Right under Salted Caramel blend in Milk Chocolate.
4. In the crease blend in Semi-Sweet and blend out and outwards.
5. From the inner part of the mobile eyelid to the middle apply Marzipan.
6. On the outer part of the mobile eyelid apply Haute Chocolate.
7. To the outer V apply Tripple Fudge and blend out
8. Apply Champagne Truffle to the inner corner of the eye and right under the eyebrow.
9. Under the lower lashline apply Amaretto.
10. Under Amaretto apply Crème Brulee and blend out.
11. Line upper and lower waterline with Urban Decay’s 24/7 glide-on eyepencil in Perversion. Apply Stila Stay All Day waterproof liquid eyeliner in Intense Black and make a wing.
12. Apply mascara and apply Ardell’s Color Impact Demi Wispies in color Wine.
13. As a face contour use Brozning Veil. On the cheeks apply Sigma Cheeky Powder Blush and highlight the cheekbones with MAC’s eyeshadow Naked Lunch.
14. On the lips first apply KIKO’s Automatic Precision Lip Liner nr 506 Cherry Red and over it Rimmel Crystal Clear Vinyl Gloss.
15. Set the make up with Urban Decay’s Chill Makeup setting spray. Done!

 

Pink Sapphire

Idag bjuder jag på ytterligare en höstig sminking. Gillar verkligen Lavish paletten från Anastasia Beverly Hills, och som jag skulle vilja prova alla de nya paletterna som kommit ut; Amrezy, Maya Mia and Tamanna. De är verkligen hur fina som helst. Ja, man kan kalla mig ögonskuggs beroende. 🙂

1. Prime the eyelids with Urban Decay’s eyeshadow primer potion anti-aging. Sweap BALLET over the browbone.
2. Under the eyebrows apply CREAM.
3. Blend in ORANGE SODA above the crease.
4. Right under ORANGE SODA blend in SIENNA.
5. Apply NYX jumbo eye pencil in MILK over the mobile eyelid and over it apply PINK SAPPHIRE.
6. In the inner corner of the eye apply MOSS.
7. Apply BLACK DIAMOND to the outer V and blend it out up in the crease.
8. Line upper and lower waterline with Anastasia Beverly Hills Covet waterproof eyeliner in NOIR. Apply it also under the lower lashline and smudge out.
9. Over the black eyeliner apply BLACK DIAMOND and blend it out using PINK SAPPHIRE.
10. Apply Stila stay all day waterproof liquid eyeliner in Intense Black and make a wing.
11. Apply mascara and put on Ardell Color Impact Demi Wispies in color Wine.
12. As a face contour use Bronzing Veil. On the cheeks apply Face Stockholm Blush in Celestial and highlight the cheekbones with Benefit’s Sun Beam.
13. On the lips apply Kryolan’s lipstick LF402. Set everything with Motives Cosmetics No More Shine Make Up setting spray. Done!

A chance I take

En varm sotad sminkning idag med Stila paletten In the know. Jag totalt älskar den paletten, färgerna är så underbara och otroligt lätta att applicera och sota med. Just det, dessa ögonskuggor kan även användas blöta.
Nu ska jag börja packa våra resväskor för tidigt imorgon bitti åker jag och mina älskade barn hem till mina föraldrar i Linköping.

A warm smokey make up today using Stila In the Know palette. I totally love this palette, the colors are amazing and it’s so easy to apply and blend these eyeshadows. More, you can also use these eyeshadows wet.
Now I need to start packing out bags because early tomorrow morning me and my kids are flying to my parents in Sweden.

New Products from MAC and Stila Cosmetics

Jag har även inhandlat lite godingar från MAC. Jag hade fått ett presentkort av min svärmor och svägerska till min födelsedag som jag äntligen kunnat använda. Vad kan jag säga mer än att MAC är MAC. Dessa ögonskuggor är fantastiska. Bra pigmenterade, lätta att jobba och sudda med. Perfekta att använda när man vill få till en snygg sminkning. Jag valde några färger som jag tycker passar bra nu till hösten.

I’ve also bought some goodies from MAC, I got a giftcard from my mother- and sister in law for my birthday that I finally had the chance to use. What can I say more than that MAC is MAC. These eyeshadows are fabolous. So good pigmented and easy to work and blend with. They’re perfect when you want to get a great looking make up. I chose some colors that I think can fit good now for the autumn.

Ho anche comprato un paio di tesori da MAC. Ho avuto un buono regalo per il mio compleanno dalla mia suocera e cognata che finalmente ho avuto modo di usare. Che cosa posso dire di più che MAC è MAC. Questi ombretti sono favolosi. Sono pigmentati e facile da lavorare e sfumare. Sono perfetti quando vuoi creare un trucco splendido. Ho scelto dei colori che penso siano adatti ora per l’autunno.

Sen var jag tvungen att beställa dessa produkter från Beautybay! Jag har velat testa Stilas ögonskuggor länge nu och har äntligen fått chansen. De är underbara, så lena och fantastiska att jobba och sudda med. Den här paletten har alla matta jordnära färger du behöver. Perfekt till alla tillfällen. Sen var jag tvungen att återbeställa Stila’s stay all day waterproof liquid eyeliner Intense Black, den har blivit en av mina ”kan inte leva utan” produkter. Det är den absolut bästa eyeliner penna jag testat, lovar! Jag behövde även en riktigt bra pincett och denna från Tweezerman är toppen, kan riktigt rekommendera den.

Then I just had to order these products from Beautybay! I’ve wanted to try these eyeshadows from Stila for a long time and finally got my hands on them. They are lovely, so soft and great to work and blend with. This palette has all the matte down to earth colors that you’ll need. Perfect to all occassions! Then I reordered Stila’s stay all day waterproof liquid eyeliner Intense Black that has become one of my ”can’t live without” products. It’s the best eyeliner pen I’ve ever tried, promise! I also needed a pair of good tweezers and these ones from Tweezerman ar great, I can really recommend them.

Poi ho ordinato questi prodotti da Beautybay! E’ da tantissimo tempo che ho voluto provare questi ombretti della Stila e finalmente sono miei. Sono deliziosi, così morbidi e facili da usare e sfumare. Questa palette ha tutti i colori opachi della terra di cui hai bisogno. Perfetto ad ogni occasione! Poi ho riordinato l’eyeliner della Stila stay all day waterproof liquid eyeliner Intense Black che è diventato uno dei prodotti che non posso stare senza. E’ in assoluto la penna eyeliner migliore che abbia mai provato, promesso! Avevo anche bisogno di un paio di pinzette buone e questi della Tweezerman sono ottimi, li posso veramente raccomandare.

 

 

Aphrodite

En riktigt galen rosa lila sminkning blev det när jag inte riktigt visste vad för typ av sminkning jag skulle hitta på. Vissa mornar har jag ingen aning om vad för typ av sminkning jag ska göra så den här morgonen bestämde jag mig för att leka loss med rosa. Man kan väl aldrig få för mycket av rosa, eller? 😉

Let’s go pink and purple crazy for a little while, that’s more or less what happened when I created this look. Some mornings I’ve no idea what kind of make up to go for so when it happened this morning I decided to use lots of pink. You can’t get too much of pink right, or? 😉

Questo trucco è successo quando non ho avuto minima idea cosa inventarmi. Quella mattina non riuscivo a capire da dove iniziare per cui ho deciso di usare tanta rosa. Alla fine ho aggiunto anche qualche strass e questo è il risultato. Non puoi mai avere troppa rosa, vero? 😉

1. Prime the eyelids with Urban Decay’s eyeshadow primer potion. Highlight under the eyebrows with a matte white eyeshadow.
2. Mix a matte light pink and a pink eyeshadow and blend them gently in above the crease.
3. Now mix two more pink eyeshadows, also these ones matte, and blend them into the crease.
4. Apply NYX jumbo eye pencil in MILK over the mobile eyelid and over it apply Motives Cosmetics pressed eyeshadow Pink Diamond.
5. Apply an eyeliner using Stila’s stay all day waterproof liquid eyeliner in Intense Black and make a wing.
6. Line the waterline with NYX MILK pencil and apply it also along the lower lashline. Over it on the waterline and right under the lower lashline apply apply Motives Cosmetics pressed eyeshadow Fantasy.
7. Under Fantasy apply and blend out Motives Cosmetics pressed eyeshadow Aphrodite. Apply ut also under the eyeliner wing.
8. In the inner corner of the eye apply a white loose highlighting powder. I used the one from Born Pretty Store.
9. Apply two small body jewels, one in the inner corner of the eye and one where the eyeliner wing finish.
10. Apply mascara and put on Motives Cosmetics false eyelasehs nr 113.
11. As a face contour use Bronzing Veil. Apply the pink blush and highlight the cheekbones with the white loose highlighting powder.
12. On the lips apply Motives for Lala Mineral Lipstick in Beso.

Radiant Glow

Idag är det helgdag här i Italien, Ferragosto heter den. Hittade bara översättningen på engelska som är ”Assumption of Mary”. Jag är så dålig på religion men det har såklart med den heliga Marias himmelsfärd att göra.
Dagen till ära blir det en soft färgglad sensommar sminkning. Jag har mest använt mig av Motives Cosmetics för att göra denna sminkning.

Today is a national holiday here in Italy, Ferragosto, which means Feast of the Assumption and is about the celebration of Virgin Mary’s being taken up into heaven when her earthly life ended. (I’m really bad at relgion so I just looked it up.)
In honor of the day I’ve made a soft colourful late summer make up. I’ve mainly used Motives Cosmetics to create this look.

1. Prime the eyelids with Urban Decay’s primer potion anti-aging. Sweep Vanilla all over the brow bone.
2. Highlight under the eyebrows with Creme Fresh.
3. Above the crease blend in NOONER (Naked3).
4. Over the mobile eyelid apply NYX jumbo eye pencil in MILK. In the inner part of the mobile eyelid apply Pink Diamond.
5. Over the middle mobile eyelid apply Green Apple.
6. Over the outer mobile eyelid apply Dreamy.
7. In the inner corner of the eye apply Pearl.
8. Blend in Ecstasy in the crease and blend out.
9. To the outer V add some intensity using Onyx. For a soft result blend in a small amount.
10. Line the waterline with NYX MILK pencil and apply it also along the lower lashline. Over it apply the same eyeshadows as on the mobile eyelid.
11. Apply Stila’s stay all day waterproof liquid eyeliner Intense Black and make a wing.
12. Apply mascara and put on Motives false eyelashes nr113.
13. As a face contour use Brozning Veil. On the cheeks apply Collistar’s silk effect blusher/eyeshadow nr2 and highlight the cheekbones with the loose highlighting powder from Born Pretty Store (My Code GDB10 for a 10% discount)
14. On the lips apply Motives Cosmetics Radiant Glow Lipgloss. Set everything with Motives Cosmetics no more shine makeup setting spray. Done!

4. Over the mobile eyelid apply NYX jumbo eye pencil in MILK. Over it in the inner corner to about the middle mobile eyelid apply a whitegold eyeshadow.
5. From the middle to the outer mobile eyelid apply a pinkgold eyeshadow.
6. Under the lower lashline apply the aubergine colored eyeshadow and blend it out with Timber.
7. Line upper and lower waterline with Anastasia Beverly Hills Covet Waterproof eyeliner in NOIR.
8. Apply Stila Stay all Day Waterproof liquid eyeliner in black and make a wing.
9. Apply mascara and put on Ardell’s Color Impact Demi Wispies in Plum.
