Good Times

This week has been much more positive than the last one. Feels good to mentally feel better again. What really helps me to cheer up is listening to music, it works a bit like therapy for me. And I love going back a bit in time finding old songs I listened to years ago, and with that I get so many happy memories and positive energy which gets me back on the right track again.
(Then tomorrow we’ll change the wind shield on the car and with that one problem less. 🙂 )
On Saturday my daughter is turing 9, so she’ll have a few friends over for the day. I’ll make lunch for them and afterwards we’ll have the cake. In the afternoon I’ll bring them to do some kind of activity together, maybe ice skating. She’s really looking forward to her birthday which makes me very happy! 9 years already…

Today’s makeup is a kind of makeup I’ve done million of times. A neutral look with a pop of color along the lower lashline. It’s a look that in its simplicaty puts me in a good mood. It’s also super easy to make and you decide the intensity of the colors. I made mine really soft and blended. Then adding a pair of false eyelashes can never be wrong, as long as you use a pair that are super light and doesn’t disturb you during the day. Some lashes can make the eye feel heavy or sometimes the inner part can feel like a spine, if that happens try to find a pair that are lightweighted with an invisible band. I’m a big fan of Ardell’s eyelashes. Also Eylure has some good ones.

1. Prime the eyelids with Urban Decay’s eyeshadow primer potion anti-aging. Highlight under the eyebrows with Nabla’s eyeshadow Antique White.
2. Blend in Nabla’s eyeshadow Peach Velvet above the crease.
3. Apply Nabla’s eyeshadow Wild Side to the outer V and blend outwards and up in the crease.
4. Over the mobile eyelid apply MAC’s eyeshadow in Naked Lunch. Apply it also to the inner corner of the eye.
5. Along the lower lashline apply Nabla’s eyeshadow Cattleya.
6. Just under the inner part under the lower lashline apply Nabla’s eyeshadow Lilac Wonder.
7. Apply INGLOT’s AMC Eyeliner Gel 77 and make a wing.
8. Line upper and lower waterline with Urban Decay’s 24/7 Waterline Eyepencil in Rail.
9. Apply Eyeko’s skinny brush mascara and put on Ardell’s Natural Demi Luvies.
10. Contour the face using Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit. On the cheeks apply Yves Saint Laurent Blush Volupté Passionnee nr 6.
11. Contour and color the lips with Illamasqua’s Lip Colouring Pencil Media and over it apply Illamasqua’s Vanitas Matte Lipstick Wanton. Done!

Under the light

Me and my family just came back to Italy after one lovely week in Sweden. We were so lucky with the weather this time. We had around 20-25 degrees and sun every day! It was actually much better weather there than here in Italy.

Lately I haven’t been able to do much makeup and I feel that I really miss it! Tomorrow I’ll be working in a pharmacy outside of Florence where I’ll be the beauty consultant for the Italian brand Euphidra. It’ll be very fun to meet, do consultency and do the makeup on their clients. It always gives me such positive energy and I really love it. So I hope it’ll be a productive and creative day.

This makeup that I show you today is completely made using the fantastic eyeshadows from Nabla Cosmetics. Here I’ve also used my new eyeshadow Fahrenheit as a transition color above the crease. On the pictures you can see how soft and nice it gets when you blend it out. It doens’t even seem to be a darkred color like this.

1. Prime the eyelids with Urban Decay’s eyeshadow primer potion anti-aging. Highlight under the eyebrows with Nabla’s eyeshadow Antique White.
2. Blend in Nabla’s eyeshadow Peach Velvet over the brow bone.
3. Right under blend in Nabla’s eyeshadow Fahrenheit.
4. In the crease and just a bit over blend in Nabla’s eyeshadow Wild Side.
5. Apply Nabla’s eyeshadow Mimesis to the outer part of the mobile eyelid and blend outwards and up in the crease.
6. Apply NYX Jumbo Eyepencil in Milk over the mobile eyelid and over it apply Nabla’s eyeshadow Lazy Days, also to the inner corner of the eye.
7. Apply NYX Jumbo Eyepencil in Milk also along the lower lashline and over it apply Nabla’s eyeshadow Atmosphere.
8. Line the waterline with Kryolan’s Kajal Beige.
9. Apply Illamasqua’s precision geleyeliner Infinity and make a wing.
10. Apply Eyeko’s skinny brush mascara and apply Ardell’s Color Impact Demi Wispies in Plum.
11. Contour the face using Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit. On the cheeks apply Sephora’s blush Romantic Rose nr10.
12. On the lips apply NYX Butter Gloss Maple Blondie.
13. Set the makeup with Urban Decay’s De-Slick makeup setting spray. Done!

Losing My Way

Jag har äntligen hunnit göra årets första sminkning till bloggen! Jag har galet mycket att göra, trodde det skulle bli bättre med det nya året men just nu är det fullt upp med jobb och allting runtomkring.
Men jag har ytterligare någon sminkning på gång så jag kommer uppdatera bloggen snart igen.

Ma fortunatamente ho anche qualche altro trucco da mostrarvi per cui aggiornerò il blog appena avrò tempo libero.

1. Prime the eyelids with Urban Decay’s eyeshadow primer potion anti-aging. Sweep in Antique White and Vanilla over the brownbone.
2. Highlight under the eyebrows and in the inner corner of the eye with Creme Fresh.
3. Blend in Peach Velvet above the crease.
4. Right under Peach Velvet blend in Petra.
5. Blend in Wild Side in and a bit above the crease.
6. Apply Mimesis to the outer corner of the eye and blend up in the crease.
7. Add more intensity to the outer corner of the eye using Onyx and blend out.
8. In the inner part of the mobile eyelid apply Madreperla.
9. Over the middle mobile eyelid apply Ground State.
10. To the middle outer part of the mobile eyelid apply Ecstasy. Apply Ecstasy also along the lower lashline.
11. Mix Peach Velvet and Petra and blend them in right under Ecstasy.
12. Line upper and lower waterline with UD 24/7 glide-on eyepencil in Riot.
13. Apply Illamasqua’s Percision Gel Eyeliner in Infinity and make a wing.
14. Apply mascara and put on Ardell’s false eyelashes nr 104.
15. Contour the face with ABH Contour Kit. On the cheeks apply Sigma’s powder blush in Cheeky.
16. Line the lips with Make Up Store’s Lippencil Fairytale Dream and over it apply NYX Xtreme Lipcream in Pinky Nude and Butter Gloss in Maple Blondie.
17. Set the makeup with UD de-slick makeup setting spray.

Lilac Wonder

En sminkning som liknar den jag gjorde för två veckor sedan bara att jag nu enbart använt den lila ögonskuggan Lilac Wonder från Nabla istället för Ground State. Två lika men ändå olika sminkningar. (Klicka här för att se den andra sminkningen.)

11. On the lips apply Nabla’s Diva Crime modern matte lipstick in Vertigo and over it a bit of Motives Cosmetics lipgloss in Radiant Glow.
12. Set the makeup with Motives Cosmetics No More Shine Make Up Setting Spray. Done!

Extravagant

En överdriven sminkning kan väl inte vara helt fel en fredag, eller!? 😉 Jag älskar dessa lösögonfransar från Sugarpill, dessutom väldigt lätta att applicera.

8. Along the lower lashline apply Motives Cosmetics eyeshadow Antique Gold.
9. Apply ABH Waterproof Créme Color in Jet and make a wing. Line also upper and lower waterline with it.
10. Apply mascara and put on Sugarpill’s Eyelash Overdose in Baby Dewdrop.
11. Contour the face using ABH Contour Kit. Apply a pink blush on the cheeks.
12. Line the lips with Make Up Store’s Lippencil Fairytale Dream and over it apply NYX Butter Gloss in Maple Blondie.
13. Set the makeup with Motives Cosmetics No More Shine makeup setting spray. Done!

Irreplaceable

Provar även på en lite softare sminkning i ljuslila toner med Nablas ögonskuggor. De här färger passar bra till alla ögonfärger.

I also try a softer makeup in light purple shades using the eyeshadows from Nabla. These colors fit good with every eyecolor.

8. Make just an eyeliner wing using Sigma’s Standout eyes gel eyeliner in Wicked.
9. Apply mascara and put on Red Cherry Lashes WSP.
10. Contour the face using ABH Contour Kit. Apply Sigma’s powder blush in cheeky.
11. Line and color the lips using Make Up Store’s Lippencil Fairytale Dream.

4. Apply Grenadine over the mobile eyelid.
5. Line upper and lower waterline with NYX Jumbo eyepencil in Black Bean. Under the lower lashline apply Eternity and apply it also over the black eyepencil in the waterline.
6. Blend in Ground State right under Eternity.
7. In the inner corner of the eye apply Madreperla.
8. Apply ABH waterproof créme color in Jet and make a wing. Apply it also in the inner corner of the eye creating an arabic eye.
9. Apply mascara and put on Red Cherry Lashes in WSP.
10. Contour the face using ABH Contour Kit. Over the cheeks apply Sigma’s powder blush in Cheeky.
11. On the lips apply Nabla’s modern matte lipstick in Paloma.
12. Set the makeup with Motives Cosmetics No More Shine makeup setting spray. Done!

Vertigo

Med denna färgglada sminkning skickar jag er en massa sommarvärme från Florens där vi har en rekordvarm sommar. Imorgon åker vi äntligen till havet en vecka vilket ska bli underbart.

11. Apply Sigma’s Standout eyes gel eyeliner in Wicked and make a wing.
12. Apply mascara and put on Ardell’s Lashes nr 104. To the lower lashes for some extra color you can apply a colorful mascara.
13. Contour the face using Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit. Apply Collistar’s silk effect blusher/eyeshadow nr2 over the cheeks.
14. On the lips apply Nabla Cosmetics Diva Crime Lipstick in Vertigo.
15. Set the makeup using Urban Decay’s de-slick makeup setting spray. Done!
