Trying NYX soft matte lip cream

Som jag väntat på att prova dessa matta läppkrämer från NYX! På läpparna blir de matta på en gång och jag måste säga att de håller rätt länge. Den enda nackdelen, eftersom de är matta, är att läpparna blir torra efter ett tag och att det då kan blir färg ränder på läpparna. Så om du har torra läppar är inte detta något för dig. Men annars är de helt fantastiska. De har även en väldigt god söt doft. Jag kommer snart att använda dem i mina sminkningar.

I’ve really been waiting to try these soft matte lip creams from NYX. On the lips they turn matte immediately and I must say that they last on for a long time. The only disadvantage, since they’re matte, is that the lips get dry after a while and then you can get lines of color on the lips. So if you already have dry lips this is not the product for you. Except that they’re completely wonderful. They also have a good sweet scent. I’ll soon use them in my upcoming make ups.

Naked 2 Look

Här har vi sovit ut på morgonen, väldigt olikt mig då jag för det mesta går upp väldigt tidigt, men kroppen orkar verkligen inte med det jämt. Som tur är har vi två barn som sover väldigt bra på morgonen! Idag ska det förberedas lite inför Påsken, måste göra iordning barnens ägg och småpresenter. Städa hann jag med igår så det behöver jag inte tänka på. Det har regnat lite nu på morgonen så om det blir bättre efter lunch blir det nog en tur ut med barnen då istället.
Här kommer en lätt vardagssminkning:

Today we slept until late, it’w very unusual me since I most of the time wake up very early in the morning, but the body can’t handle it all the time. Fortunately we have two kids that sleep very good in the morning! Today I’ve to prepare a bit for Easter, I will prepare the chocolate eggs for Alma and Oliver and some small presents. I had time to clean yesterday so that I don’t have to think about. Here it’s been raining a bit this morning so if it’ll better after lunch we’ll go out then instead.
Here comes an easy everyday make up:

1. I primed my eye and applied NYX Jumbo Pencil MILK from the inner corner to the middle of the eyelid.
2. I applied VERVE, nr1, on the inner eyelid followed by HALF BAKED, nr2, that I applied from the middle to the outer eyelid.
3. I blended in SNAKEBITE, nr3, over the crease. You don’t want to much color of it, so just take a little when you start. SNAKEBITE goes also under the lower lashline.
4. In the outer V of the eye I applied BLACKOUT and blended it a bit up in the crease into SNAKEBITE.
5. I applied BOOTYCALL in the inner corner of the eye and as a highlighter under the eyebrow.
6. I applied a black cream eyeliner, lined my waterline with the MILK pencil, put on mascara, false eyelashes and lipstick, done!

Greek Goddess Inspired Make Up

Denna sminkning fick mig att tänka på en grekisk gudinna sminkning. En riktig kattöga sminkning. Jag gillar den massor och det är en väldigt effektfull sminkning, så jag skulle säga att den allra bäst passar till något speciellt tillfälle eller till festen.

This make up made me think about a greek goddess make up. A real cateye make up. I really like it and it’s a very impactful make up, so I would say that it fits bets for a special occasion or for the party.

 

1. I primed my eye and applied NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil MILK over the mobile eyelid. I started in the inner corner and applied VIRGIN, nr 1. Then over the whole mobile eyelid I applied SIN, nr2.
2. I cut my crease with DARKHORSE, nr 3, and blended it out together with BUCK, nr 4.
3. I applied a black gel eyeliner with a thin eyeliner brush around the whole eye making a long wing in the outer corner. Under the eye I smudged it out a bit and applied a black eyeshadow over.
4. I lined upper and lower waterline with a black eyepencil, put on mascara and false eyelashes.

Easy Everyday Look

Här kommer en lätt vardagssminkning med lila under ögat som gör de hela lite mer färgglatt. Om man inte vill ha det är det bara att fortsätta att applicera den ljusbruna även under ögat.

Here comes an easy everyday make up with purple tones under the eye. If you don’t want to have that you just apply the lightbrown also under the eye.

I used Urban Decay’s Naked 2 and MAC 168 palette

1. I primed my eye and applied NYX Jumbo Eyepencil MILK over the mobile eyelid. I started with the NAKED 2 palette and applied BOOTYCALL, nr1, over the whole mobile eyelid into the inner corner.
2. I took a fluffy angled shading brush and applied TEASE in the crease and the outer corner of the eye blending it well back and forth.
3. I used FOXY, nr3, as a highlighter under the eyebrow.
4. I applied NYX Jumbo Eye pencil MILK under the lower lashline and applied the purple eyeshadow, nr4, close to the lower lashline. Under that eyeshadow I applied a bit of the lightpurple eyeshadow, nr 5.
5. I lined my waterline with a darkpurple eyepencil and applied the darkpurple eyeshadow, nr 6, over it.
6. I applied Eyeko’s Black Eyeliner, put on mascara and false eyelashes.

Pop of Glitter

Den här sminkningen har jag velat göra länge, har så många sminkningar jag vill prova att göra så vissa får köa ett bra tag innan de blir av…;-) Men grått och lila är verkligen en hit tillsammans, sen lite lila glitter på det är ju heller inte helt fel det heller!
Nu äter vi penicillin hela familjen, Oliver mår jättedåligt medan Alma håller på att krya på sig. Jag hoppas Oliver blir frisk snart också, inte kul att se någon av de må så dåligt! Jag önskar jag kunde göra något. Men till påsk siktar vi på att vara friska och krya.

This make up I’ve been wanting to do for a long time, I’ve so many make ups I want to try and do so some of them stay in line for a while before they get done…;-) But gray and purple is really a hit together, then some purple glitter on that isn’t that bad either!
Now we are taking penicillin the whole family, Oliver feels really bad while Alma is getting much better. I hope Oliver gets better soon too, I hate to see them ill and feeling bad! I wish I could do something. But until Easter we hope to be well again.

1. I primed my eye with Urban Decay Primer Potion and applied NYX Jumbo Pencil MILK over the mobile eyelid. I started to apply the purple eyeshadow, nr1, over the middle lid.
2. In the inner and outer corner I applied the gray eyeshadow, nr2, and blended it with a shading brush in and over the crease. Eyeshadow nr1 and nr2 goes also under the eye.
3. To add some intensity I applied the darkgray eyeshadow, nr3, in the outer corner of the eye and blended it a bit in the crease into the lighter gray eyeshadow.
4. In the inner corner of the eye I applied the light gray eyeshadow, nr4.
5. I highlighted under eyebrow with the white eyeshadow, nr5. Now I took Urban Decays Heavy Metal Eyeliner ”METALHEAD” and applied it on the middle lid over the purple eyeshadow. I lined my waterline with a darkpurple eyepencil. I applied Eyeko’s Black Eyeliner, put on mascara and false eyelashes.

Soft Purple with a split eyeliner

Här kommer en vardags sminkning med våriga lila färger. Jag la på lite glitter under nedre fransrader för lite mer ”vardags glamour”. 😉

Here comes an everyday make up with purple spring colors. I added some glitter under the lower lashline for some more ”everyday glamour” 😉

1. I primed my eye with Urban Decay Primer Potion and applied NYX Jumbo Pencil MILK on the mobile eyelid. I started to blend the ”matt oldpink” eyeshadow, nr1, over the crease.
2. I applied the purplepink eyeshadow, nr2, in the inner corner of the eye. On the eyelid I applied the other pinkpurple eyeshadow, nr3.
3. In the outer corner I applied the purple eyeshadow, nr4, with a small blending brush, blending it a bit up and out of the crease into the ”oldpink” eyeshadow. I also applied that same eyeshadow under the eye. Then I took Urban Decay’s Glitter Eyeliner METALHEAD and applied some glitter over the eyeshadow under the lower lashline.
4. I highlighted under the eyebrow with the nude eyeshadow, nr5. After that I applied Bobbi Brown’s Gel Eyeliner Black and split the eyeliner in three wings. I added NYX milk pencil in the lower waterline, put on mascara and false eyelashes. Done!

Turquoise-Blue

1. I primed my eyelid with Too Faced Shadow Insurance and applied NYX Jumbo eye pencil MILK over the mobile lid.
2. I started to apply the light gold eyehshadow, nr 1, over the whole mobile eyelid leaving the outer corner without eyeshadow.
3. I took a blending brush and blended the lightbrown eyeshadow, nr 2, over the crease.
4. I applied the turquoise eyeshadow, nr3, in the outer corner and blended it a bit up on the crease but keeping it mostly in the outer corner.
5. I applied a bit of the MILK pencil also under the eye with a small concealer brush and applied the ice blue eyeshadow, nr 4, under the eye with an angled brush. I highlighted under the eyebrown with the lightbeige eyeshadow, nr 5.
6. I applied ELF’s black cream eyeliner making a small wing. I applied NYX Milk pencil in the waterline extanding a line under the black wing. I put on mascara and false eyelashes.
7. On the cheeks I used ELF’s Cream Blush and on the cheek boned ELF’s all over stick for some highlighting. On the lips I used Isadora’s Lipstick nr 163 called Coral Glow.

SPRING POWER

För ett par dagar sedan blev jag så inspirerad av en sminkning jag såg på Instagram gjord av ”elymarino”. Hon gör de mest magiska sminkningarna och det är omöjligt att inte bli inspirerad av henne. Här är min version av hennes sminkning.
Inatt fick Alma feber så idag blir det tyvärr att vara hemma för hennes del. I eftermiddag ska hon och hennes klass spela upp en teater för oss föräldrar så det ska vi i alla fall försöka gå på, Alma har sett fram emot det så länge! Nu ska jag och Oliver till affären och storhandla.

Some days ago I got inspired by a make up I saw on Instagram made by ”elymarino”. She makes the most magical make ups and it’s impossible to not get inspired by her. This is my version of her make up.
Last night Alma got fever so today unfortunately she’ll stay home. This afternoon she and her class are having a theatre play for us parents so of course we’ll have to try to go to that, Alma has been looking forward to it for so long. Now me and Oliver will go to the supermarket for the weekly shopping.

1. I primed my eye and applied NYX Jumbo Pencil MILK over the mobile eyelid.
2. I started to apply the white eyeshadow (nr1) over the eyelid except in the outer corner.
3. I applied the purple eyeshadow (nr2) in the outer corner and blended it up and out of the crease together with the pinkpurple eyeshadow (nr3).
4. I added some more intesity in the outer corner with the bluepurple eyeshadow (nr4) and blended it well into the purple. Eyeshadow nr3 and nr4 go also under the eye.
5. I highlighted under the eyebrown with eyeshadow nr5. I added the yellow eyeshadow, nr 6, in the inner corner of the eye. I applied a black eyeliner making the wing extend a bit and under it I applied NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil MILK with an angled brush. Under the lower lashline I applied a black kohl pencil smudging it out and making a thin line right under the white line. I lined my waterline with NYX MILK, put on mascara and false eyelashes. Done!

Dramatic Green

Här kommer en mer dramatisk sminkning där jag även använt mig av svart och grönt. Här ska man inte vara rädd att använda mycket färg. Ingen vardagssminkning direkt men kul till något speciellt tillfälle.

Here comes a dramatic make up where I used black and green. Don’t be affraid to use a lot of color here. It’s not an everyday makeup but fun for a special occasion.

Natural Lips vs Red Lips

1. I primed my eye and applied NYX Jumpo Eye Pencil MILK. I put on tape for a precise application. I started with nr 1, LACED and applied that over the crease with a blending brush.
2. I highlighted under the eyebrow with nr 2, ANONYMOUS.
3. I applied nr 3, BLACKOUT in the outer corner of the eye and blended it up and out a bit of the crease into LACED. I applied BLACKOUT also under the eye.
4. From the middle eyelid into the inner corner I applied nr 4, JUNKIE. I added the golden eyeshadow, nr 5, in the inner corner, I added more than normal. After that I applied a black eyeliner making the wing much longer than normal. I put on mascara and long false eyelashes. Done!

Green Passion

Idag kände jag för en grön sminkning mixat med svart.

Today I felt for a green make up mixed with black.

1. I primed my eye and applied NYX Jumbo Eye pencil Milk on the mobile eyelid. I started with eyeshadow nr 1, a matt light brown orange eyeshadow and blended it over the crease.
2. I applied eyeshadow nr 2, black, in the outer corner and blended it a bit up and out of the crease, not too much. The black goes also under the eye.
3. I applied the matt green eyeshadow nr 3 on the middle lid.
4. I applied the lighter matt green eyeshadow nr 4 on the inner lid and inner corner of the eye. I also applied that green under the eye in the outer corner under the black. I highlighted with a whitebeige matt eyeshadow under the eyebrow. I applied a black kohl eyeliner in the upper and lower waterline, applied a black eyeliner, put on mascara and false eyelashes. Done!
